Tī téng-hō í-keng ū lūn-khí Siōng-tè, lâng ê choē-ok, chū-kí hó͘-tēng Tiong-pó Iâ-so͘, chiah ê koan-liām. Taⁿ tī-chia beh koh chiap-soà lâi chhián-bêng, só͘ chhun hit nn̄g-hāng Ki-tok-kàu ê kin-pún cheng-sîn, chiū-sī ki-tok-tô͘ ê tō-tek-bí (道德美) kap Jîn-luī-ài chit nn̄g-ê koan-liām.

Lūn Ki-tok-tô͘ ê tō-tek-bí, hit ê bo̍k-tek sī chāi tī sèng-kiat (聖潔) . Tuì sèng-kiat chit nn̄g-jī, chiū chai Ki-tok-tô͘ ê tō-tek koan-liām kap phó͘-thong ê tō-tek koan-liām, ū toā-toā bô saⁿ-tâng tī-teh. Phó͘-thong ê tō-tek-lu̍t, bô-lūn sī kóng ū hàu, ū toā-sè, bo̍h tham-sim, bo̍h khi-phiàn, bo̍h thau-the̍h chióng-chióng, chiah ê kài-bēng, á-sī lu̍t-hoat, put-kò sī chí lâng tio̍h chīn lâng ê pún-hūn nā-tiāⁿ. Nā-sī Ki-tok-kàu ê tō-tek-koan sī ke chhim chi̍t-chân, chiū-sī tio̍h chīn thian-tō, jiân-āu chiah ē chīn jîn-tō.

Chiàu Ki-tok ê kàu-hùn sī nn̄g-ê kài-bēng, chiū-sī (1) Tio̍h thiàⁿ Chú Lí ê Siōng-tè. (2) Tio̍h thiàⁿ lâng chhin-chhiūⁿ ka-tī. Chiong chit ê tō-tek-koan lâi kap phó͘-thong ê tō-tek-koan pí-kàu, chiū thang chai Ki-tok-kàu ū ke chhim kuí-nā chân: -

(1) Ki-tok-kàu ū ke chi̍t-tiâu tio̍h thiàⁿ Siōng-tè, nā-sī phó͘-thong--ê bô.

(2) Ki-tok-kàu só͘ kóng, “tio̍h thiàⁿ lâng chhin-chhiūⁿ ka-tī” kap phó͘-thong só͘ kóng, “bo̍h-tit án-choáⁿ lâi saⁿ-pí, sī hui-siông ê chek-ke̍k-tek.

(3) Ki-tok-kàu, sīm-chì ū chiong kiâⁿ-hó, thiàⁿ lâng ê goân-thâu, kui tī thiàⁿ Siōng-tè. Oāⁿ chi̍t-kù oē lâi kóng, chiū-sī ū thiàⁿ Siong-tè chiah ū thiàⁿ-lâng. Nā-sī phó͘-thong ê lu̍t-hoat, lóng bô kóng-khí chit ê kiâⁿ-hó ê goân-tōng-le̍k, put-kò sió-khoá ū kóng-khí chi̍t ê hâm-hâm hô͘-hô͘ ê nn̄g-jī, “liông-sim” nā-tiāⁿ. Chóng-kóng chi̍t-kù, phó͘-thong sī kóng, “chīn jîn-tō, chiū-sī tō-tek. “ Nā-sī Ki-tok-kàu ê tō-tek, sèng-kiat ê tō-tek, m̄-sī án-ni; sī tio̍h thiàⁿ Siōng-tè, jiân-āu chaih ē thiàⁿ lâng, iā chit nn̄g-hāng lióng-kiam chiah sī sèng-kiat.

Koh chi̍t hāng, chiū-sī “Jîn-luī-ài.” Téng-chām í-keng ū kóng-khí Ki-tok-kàu ê jîn-tō sī “ thiàⁿ lâng.” Chóng-sī Ki-tok-kàu teh kóng thiàⁿ lâng, kap phó͘-thong ê tō-tek só͘ kóng hit ê hoān-uî iā ū toā cheng-chha tī-teh. Ki-tok-kàu ê thiàⁿ lâng sī “phok-ài”, chiū-sī khui-khoah I só͘-thiaⁿ ê kàu tī “phó͘-thiⁿ-ē.” Khóng-chú ê tō-lí teh lūn thiàⁿ--jī chit chi̍t-jī, sī ēng chi̍t-jī “jîn” (仁)--jī lâi teh pau-hâm i. M̄-kú Khóng-chú só͘ teh kóng hō-chò “jîn”--jī, sī ū chha-piat ê ài, só͘-í kóng “ài iú chhu-téng”(愛有差等), chiū-sī chit ê ì-sù. Khiok Hân-bûn-kong ū ké-soeh kóng, “phok-ài chi uī jîn” (博愛之謂仁), chóng-sī che sī Jû-kàu-tô͘ tiong te̍k-pia̍t ê kiàn-kái. Chiàu goá phah-sǹg, Hân-bûn-kong iā sī pau-hâm teh kóng, bô kóng phok tio̍h phok kàu tó-uī, khui-khoah tio̍h khui-khoah kàu tó-uī. Nā-sī án-ni, “jîn” -- jī ê ài kap Ki-tok-kàu ê ài ê hoān-uî sī bô saⁿ-tâng. ài, kì-jiân ū chhu-téng , thiàⁿ ka-tī kap thiàⁿ pa̍t lâng chiū bô saⁿ-tâng; thiàⁿ ke-lāi ê lâng kap thiàⁿ hiuⁿ-lí, chiū bô saⁿ-tâng; thiàⁿ hiuⁿ-lí kap thiàⁿ kok chiū bô saⁿ-tâng; thiàⁿ ka-tī ê kok kap thiàⁿ pa̍t kok iā bô saⁿ-tâng; liân tuì-te̍k iā soà tio̍h thiàⁿ i, chit kù oē tī Jû-kàu tiong chiū m̄-bat thiaⁿ-kìⁿ. Nā-sī Ki-tok-kàu ê thiàⁿ sī (1) Khui-khoah kàu tī phó͘-thiⁿ-ē, sīm-chì kàu tī tuì-tek; (2) I ê sèng-chit sī tio̍h thiàⁿ kàu chhin-chhiūⁿ ka-tī. Che sī pa̍t khoán ê chong-kàu só͘ bô--ê. Beh lâi kóng siāng tē-it kīn-oá--ê, he̍k-chiá sī Pu̍t-kàu. Chóng-sī Ki-tok-kàu ê thiàⁿ, á-sī jîn-luī-ài, sī hui-siông ū kin-ki tī-teh. Siáⁿ-sū tio̍h “thiàⁿ lâng chhin-chhiūⁿ ka-tī ?” In-uī lâng pêⁿ-pêⁿ tuì Ki-tok ê tiong-pó sī Siōng-tè ê kiáⁿ. Lí-lūn chéng-jiân ; goân-goân pún-pún ! só͘-í kóng, “jîn-luī-ài” sī Ki-tok-kàu ê kin-pún cheng-sîn, iā sī i ê te̍k-chit.

Taⁿ goá í-keng chiong Ki-tok-kàu ê kin-pún cheng-sîn tāi-lio̍k thiah-bêng liáu. Khiok m̄-sī kóng án-ni ū pau-hâm Ki-tok-kàu lóng-chóng ê tō-lí. Put-kò sī kí hiah ê iàu-tiám iū-koh ū chò chiong-lâi só͘ beh kóng hit ê Ki-tok-kàu bûn-bêng ê goân-tōng-le̍k ê lâi tāi-lio̍k chhián-bêng nā-tiāⁿ. Koh liū chi̍t piàn, Ki-tok-kàu ê kin-pún cheng-sîn sī (1) Siōng-tè; (2) Choē-ok; (3) Chū-kí hó͘-tēng; (4) Tiong-pó; (5) Tō-tek-bí; (6) Jîn-luī-ài; chiah ê sī Ki-tok-kàu bûn-bêng ê goân-tōng-le̍k. ǹg-bāng tho̍k-chiá kok uī ē kì-tit, thang chò āu-lâi beh chiap ê bûn-bêng-sú ê ho̍k-soàⁿ. Í-āu sī beh ti̍t-chiap kóng-khí Ki-tok-kàu ê bûn-bêng-sú.

佇頂號已經有論起上帝、人ê罪惡,自己否定中保耶穌,遮个觀念。Taⁿ佇遮欲koh接續來闡明,所賰彼兩項基督教ê根本精神,就是基督徒ê道德美(道德美)kap人類愛這兩个觀念。

論基督徒ê道德美,彼个目的是在佇聖潔(聖潔)。對聖潔這兩字,就知基督徒ê道德觀念kap普通ê道德觀念,有大大無相同佇teh。普通ê道德律,無論是講有孝、有大細、莫貪心、莫欺騙、莫偷提種種,遮个誡命,á是律法,不過是指人著盡人ê本份若定。若是基督教ê道德觀是ke深一層,就是著盡天道,然後chiah會盡人道。

照基督ê教訓是兩個誡命,就是 (1)著疼主你ê上帝。 (2)著疼人親像家治。將這个道德觀來kap普通ê道德觀比較,就thang知基督教有ke深幾若層:-

(1) 基督教有ke一條著疼上帝,若是普通--ê無。

(2) 基督教所講:「著疼人親像家治」kap普通所講:「莫得按呢來相比,是非常ê積極tek。

(3) 基督教,甚至有將行好、疼人ê源頭,歸佇疼上帝。換一句話來講:就是有疼上帝chiah有疼人。若是普通ê律法,攏無講起這个行好ê原動力,不過小可有講起一个含含糊糊ê兩字,「良心」若定。總講一句,普通是講:「盡人道,就是道德。」若是基督教ê道德,聖潔ê道德,毋是按呢;是著疼上帝,然後chaih會疼人,也這兩項兩兼chiah是聖潔。

Koh一項,就是「人類愛」。頂站已經有講起基督教ê人道是「疼人」。總是基督教teh講疼人,kap普通ê道德所講彼个範圍也有大增差佇teh。基督教ê疼人是「博愛」,就是開闊伊所聽ê到佇「普天下」。孔子ê道理teh論疼--字這一字,是用一字「仁」(仁)--字來teh包含伊。毋過孔子所teh講號做「仁」--字,是有差別ê愛,所以講「愛有差等」(愛有差等),就是這个意思。卻韓文公有解說講:「博愛之謂」(博愛之謂仁),總是這是儒教徒中特別ê見解。照我拍算,韓文公也是包含teh講:無講博著博到叼位,開闊著開闊到叼位。若是按呢,「仁」--字ê愛kap基督教ê愛ê範圍是無相同。愛,既然有差等,疼家治kap疼別人就無相同;疼家內ê人kap疼鄉里,就無相同;疼鄉里kap疼國就無相同;疼家治ê國kap疼別國也無相同;連對敵也續著疼伊,這句話佇儒教中就毋捌聽見。若是基督教ê疼是 (1)開闊到佇普天下,甚至到佇對敵; (2)伊ê性質是著疼到親像家治。這是別款ê宗教所無--ê。欲來講siāng第一近倚--ê,或者是佛教。總是基督教ê疼,á是人類愛,是非常有根基佇teh。啥事著「疼人親像家治?」因為人平平對基督ê中保是上帝ê囝。理論整然;原原本本!所以講:「人類愛」是基督教ê根本精神,也是伊ê特質。

Taⁿ我已經將基督教ê根本精神大略拆明了。卻毋是講按呢有包含基督教攏總ê道理。不過是指遐个要點又koh有做將來所欲講彼个基督教文明ê原動力ê來大略闡明若定。Koh餾一遍,基督教ê根本精神是 (1)上帝;(2)罪惡;(3)自己否定;(4)中保;(5)道德美; (6)人類愛;遮个是基督教文明ê原動力。Ǹg望讀者各位會記得,thang做後來欲接ê文明史ê伏線。以後是欲直接講起基督教ê文明史。
