Nā bat kàu Koan-á-niá--ê bô chi̍t-ê bô hō͘ hia ê san-chí suí-bêng kiaⁿ--tio̍h, iā chē-chē ún-tàng siūⁿ-khí kó͘-chá Hi-lia̍p kok iā sī sio-siāng tī chit khoán ê khoân-kéng lâi chō-chiâⁿ in ê kok-tō͘ kap in ê bûn-bêng. Hi-lia̍p ê kok sī kiàn-siat tī tó-sū ê só͘-chāi, sì-uî kéng-tì chin hó, thian-sán ke̍k hong-hù. Lâng lóng khoàⁿ hiān-sè chò lo̍k-hn̂g, in khah bô tuì-tiōng chong-kàu, sī tuì-tiōng tì-sek kap gē-su̍t, in ê sîn-bêng sī in siūⁿ bē kàu--ê, in ê siōng-tè sī boē-bat ê siōng-tè (Hēng-toān 17:23), só͘-í tuì tī chong-kàu in put-chí léng-chēng. In ê chong-kàu-sim bô chhin-chhiūⁿ Ai-ki̍p, ìn-tō͘, Pa-pí-lûn, A-su̍t, chiah ê kok, ū-ê siū Nî-lô hô kap Sa-oah-lah soa-bô͘ ê ap-pek, ū-ê siū Pek-lat á-sī Hi-tí-kiat toā-hô kap A-lat-pek soa-bô͘ khióng-hek. Só͘-í bô chhin-chhiūⁿ in hiah ê kok-tō͘ ê bîn-cho̍k ū teh iau-kiû jîn-luī í-siōng chi̍t ê uì-an-chiá, chhoē ū koân-lêng toā khuì-la̍t ê Siōng-tè. Tuì án-ni Hi-lia̍p bîn-cho̍k tuì tī chong-kàu ke̍k-kî ê léng-sim. Si̍t-chāi lâng nā bô keng-koè khùn-khó͘ ê thé-giām chiū tuì chong-kàu khah bô jia̍t-sim; it-seng siū-tio̍h ke̍k-hó ê kéng-gū ê lâng, lóng m̄-bat tú-tio̍h sím-mi̍h kan-khó͘ ê lâng, in ê chong-kàu-sim sī ke̍k léng-tām. Hù-jū ê lâng iā sī án-ni, in-uī hù-jū ê lâng m̄-bat tú-tio̍h kan-khó͘ soà khah bē hiáu thé-thiap kan-khó͘ ê lâng; si̍t-chāi pù-lâng khah chió jîn-chêng bī. Lán ê Chú Iâ-so͘ tuì ha̍k-seng kóng, “Pù-lâng ji̍p Thian-kok oh ah! Lo̍k-tô chhng-koè chiam-phīⁿ pí pù-lâng ji̍p Siōng-tè ê kok khah khoài” (Thài 19:24) kiám m̄-sī teh kóng chit ê siau-sit mah?

Taⁿ chit ê Koan-á-niá ū Hi-lia̍p ê hit khoán ê khoân-kéng, nā-sī chia ê pài-tn̂g ê kiàn-tio̍k khiok sī Ai-ki̍p tek--ê. M̄-sī Pa-pí-lûn tek--ê. (Ai-ki̍p tek--ê sī éng-kiú tek--ê, sī ēng chio̍h--ê; Pa-pí-lûn tek--ê sī kap Ai-ki̍p tuì-hoán, chiām-sî-tek, chhù-liāu sī ēng chng á-sī thô͘--ê). Só͘-í thang kóng chia ê bîn-cho̍k sim-lí ū Hi-lia̍p kap Ai-ki̍p hit nn̄g khoán ê te̍k-tiông tī-teh. (Sui-jiân bē thang chheng-chò bîn-cho̍k sim-lí, iáu-kú lâng nā toà tī hit khoán ê khoân-kéng, chū-jiân ē chiâⁿ-chò hit khoán ê sim-sèng). án-ni nā ē thang lâi toà tī chia, lâi chò chia ê lâng si̍t-chāi chin hēng-hok. Thoân-kàu-chiá nā ē, iáu khah hok-khì.

Chóng-sī ū chi̍t hāng lán ài thé-thiap tiàm chia ê thoân-kàu--chiá. Tiàm pông-pian lâi khoàⁿ, si̍t-chāi thang him-soān ê só͘-chāi. Chóng-sī it-tàn nā lâi tiàm--tio̍h chiū chai-iáⁿ; m̄ sī hoē-iú bô jia̍t-sim, iā m̄ sī bô lâng tàu chhut-la̍t, si sím-mi̍h leh? Sī bé-bē bô lī-piān, kāu lâng-kheh, in-uī chia sī iû-sèng-tē, chē-chē lâng ài lâi thit-thô sé un-choâⁿ. ia̍h nā hoē-goā ê lâng chiū ài tiàm lú-koán, chóng-sī nā hoē-iú chiū ài chhoē sian-siⁿ thit-thô soà chioh-toà chioh-hioh, sīm-chì soà siū sian-siⁿ ê hó khoán-thāi. Chóng-sī tī chia beh bé-mi̍h tio̍h kià--lâng khì kàu Pe̍h-hô bé chiah ū; beh chhiàⁿ--lâng tio̍h kang-chîⁿ, chi̍t táu-bí chì-chió tio̍h chi̍t kak gîn chhiàⁿ-lâng tia̍h, bé-mi̍h tio̍h ke chîⁿ. Chóng-sī sin-kim bô thang ke, in-uī chia sī bô sǹg chāi to͘-chhī-lāi. Tī-chia chit chân chhiáⁿ tong-kiok-chiá tio̍h chi̍t pái chim-chiok khoàⁿ leh! M̄ thang chip-koat to͘-chhī tiong-sim, tio̍h chham-khó thó͘-tē ê chōng-hóng, mi̍h-kè ê chhui-î. Nā beh khiām, toà to͘-chhī iā ē khiām, koh to͘-chhī m̄-bián ke chîⁿ chhiàⁿ lâng bé mi̍h; nā-sī chhin-chhiūⁿ Koan-á-niá tio̍h ke chîⁿ chhiàⁿ--lâng. án-ni Koan-á-niá ê thoân-tō--ê ê sin-kim bô ke chîⁿ, nā sī to͘-chhī chiū ke saⁿ kho͘, ke nn̄g kho͘, ke chi̍t kho͘, án-ni kiám bô thang koh chim-chiok ê û-tē mah? iā soà pài-thok beh khì hia iû-oân ê pêng-iú, á-sī beh khì hia sé un-choâⁿ tī chèng-thâu ê pêng-iú, m̄ thang lia̍h pài-tn̂g (thoân-tō siok-sià) chò lú-koán; iû-oân--ê iáu khó-í, nā sī beh tī-pēⁿ--ê chiū tio̍h chim-chiok siūⁿ, m̄ thang hō͘ lâng sim kan-khó͘. Chit hō pēⁿ-lâng chioh-hioh pài-tn̂g, pa̍t-uī iā iáu ū, chhiáⁿ lóng tio̍h siūⁿ; tong-kio̍k-chiá iā tio̍h ū phah-sǹg, pài-tn̂g kap lú-koán tio̍h hun-piat.

Koan-á-niá toà chi̍t ji̍t chiū teh Pan-bûn lōng-hú, si̍t-chāi ū khah koè-thâu toā-táⁿ, chhiáⁿ lia̍t-uī sian-poè saⁿ sià-bián chiū-sī; àng-lāi-báng teh kóng thiⁿ-tē-goā ê sū, ū koè-hūn chhiáⁿ bô koè-siàu!

關仔嶺的一日

若捌到關仔嶺--ê無一个無予遐的 san-chí水明驚--著,也濟濟穩當想起古早希臘國也是相siāng佇這款的環境來造成in 的國度佮in 的文明。希臘的國是建設佇島嶼的所在,四圍景緻真好,天產極豐富。人攏看現世做樂園,in較無對重宗教,是對重智識佮藝術,in 的神明是in想袂到--ê,in 的上帝是袂捌的上帝(行傳17:23),所以對佇宗教in不止冷靜。In 的宗教心無親像埃及,印度,巴比倫,亞述,chiah 的國,有的受尼羅河佮Sa-oah-lah沙漠的壓迫,有的受Pek-lat抑是Hi-tí-kiat大河佮A-lat-pek沙漠恐嚇。所以無親像in遐的國度的民族有teh要求人類以上一个慰安者,揣有權能大氣力的上帝。對按呢希臘民族對佇宗教極其的冷心。實在人若無經過困苦的體驗就對宗教較無熱心;一生受著極好的境遇的人,攏毋捌拄著啥物艱苦的人,in 的宗教心是極冷淡。富裕的人也是按呢,因為富裕的人毋捌拄著艱苦紲較袂曉體貼艱苦的人;實在富人較少人情味。咱的主耶穌對學生講,「富人入天國oh ah!駱駝穿過針鼻比富人入上帝的國較快」(太19:24) kiám毋是teh講這个消息mah?

Taⁿ這个關仔嶺有希臘的彼款的環境,若是遮的拜堂的建築卻是埃及tek--ê。毋是巴比倫tek--ê。 (埃及tek--ê是永久tek--ê,是用石--ê;巴比倫tek--ê是佮埃及對反,暫時tek,厝料是用磚抑是塗--ê)。所以通講遮的民族心理有希臘佮埃及彼兩款的特長佇teh。(雖然袂通稱做民族心理,iáu-kú人若蹛佇彼款的環境,自然會成做彼款的心性)。按呢若會通來蹛佇遮,來做遮的人實在真幸福。傳教者若會,猶較福氣。

總是有一項咱愛體貼踮遮的傳教者。踮傍邊來看,實在通欣羨的所在。總是一旦若來踮--著就知影;毋是會友無熱心,也毋是無人鬥出力,是啥物leh?是買賣無利便,厚人客,因為遮是遊聖地,濟濟人愛來thit-thô洗溫泉。亦若會外的人就愛踮旅館,總是若會友就愛揣先生thit-thô紲借蹛借歇,甚至紲受先生的好款待。總是佇遮欲買物著寄人去到白河買才有;欲倩人著工錢,一斗米至少著一角銀倩人糴,買物著加錢。總是辛金無通加,因為遮是無算在都市內。佇遮這層請當局者著一擺斟酌看leh!毋通執訣都市中心,著參考土地的狀況,物價的推移。若欲儉,蹛都市也會儉,閣都市毋免加錢倩人買物;若是親像關仔嶺著加錢倩人。按呢關仔嶺領的傳道--ê 的辛金無加錢,若是都市就加三箍,加兩箍,加一箍,按呢kiám無通閣斟酌的餘地mah?也紲拜託欲去遐遊玩的朋友,抑是欲去遐洗溫泉佇治頭的朋友,毋通掠拜堂(傳道宿舍)做旅館;遊玩--ê猶可以,若是欲治病--ê就著斟酌想,毋通予人心艱苦。這號病人借歇拜堂,別位也猶有,請攏著想;當局者也著有拍算,拜堂佮旅館著分別。

關仔嶺蹛一日就teh搬門弄斧,實在有較過頭大膽,請列位先輩相赦免就是;甕內蠓teh講天地外的事,有過分請無過數!
