oa̍t-Joē-le̍k (G. F. Watts) sī Eng-kok chhut-miâ ê hoā(誤植hoa)-kong, i tī 1904 nî 7 ge̍h kè-sin, hióng-siū 87 hè.  I ū lâu choē-choē ê chong-kàu-oē (tô͘) tī āu-sè, lâng nā khoàⁿ i ê tô͘ chiū oē bêng-pe̍k, chai i m̄-nā sī pù-ū tī û-giân-tek (預言的) cheng-sîn ê lâng koh-chài sī ū chhòng-chō-tek (創造的) châi-lêng (才能) ê hoā(誤植hoa)-kong.  Tiong-kan i só͘ tē-it kòng-hiàn tī bān-kok ê Ki-tok-tô͘ ê bêng-oē chiū-sī hit-tiuⁿ Ki-tok-kàu ê Cheng-sin”-Ki-tok chē tī hûn-téng, I ê kha-thâu-u-ê ū sì-ê chhiah-thé ê soè-hàn gín-ná tī-teh, Ki-tok tò-chhiú pí sim-koaⁿ, chiàⁿ-chhiú pí chiah ê soè-kiáⁿ.

Nā kóng Ki-tok-kàu ê cheng-sîn, bān-lâng tek-khak teh-beh īⁿ-kháu tông-im lâi kiò kóng,-kiù-chè ‘hām-lo̍h choē-ok ê toā choē-jîn’ chiū-sī Ki-tok-kàu ê cheng-sîn lah!  Nā kóng khah bêng, kin-ná-ji̍t ê Ki-tok-kàu-hoē kiaⁿ-liáu ba̍k-chiu bô kàu-gia̍h kng thang khoàⁿ Ki-tok ê choân(誤植choan)-cheng-sîn.  Kan-ta sìn Ki-tok sī toā Kiù-chú, bû-sī Ki-tok ū toā bo̍k-chiá toā kàu-su ê chun-kuì sèng-chit tī-teh ê khoán-sit.  Ki-tok-kàu-hoē ê Sîn-ha̍k-chiá, soat-kàu-ka iā ná teh siūⁿ Ki-tok-kàu tû-khì Kiù-chú kap choē-koà í-goā bô ū būn(誤植bûn)-toê thang gián-kiù ê khoán-sit, só͘-í in kan-ta bu̍t-thâu tī chit nn̄g-ê būn(誤植bûn)-toê.

Chóng-sī oa̍t-hoa-kong khoàⁿ Ki-tok-kàu ê tù-gán-tiám (著眼點) choân-jiân bô saⁿ-tâng.  I ê ba̍k-chiu si̍t-chāi khak-si̍t ū û-gián-tek ê gán-kng (眼光) tī-teh.  I khoàⁿ-phoà Ki-tok-kàu ê cheng-sîn m̄-nā kan-ta tī kiù-chè choē-jîn nā-tiāⁿ.  Ki-tok-kàu ê cheng-sîn iā tio̍h tī pó-hō͘ ióng-io̍k thian-chin lân-bān, (天真爛熳) bô siâ-khì ê gín-ná.  Chun-kèng gín-ná chhut-sì chiū-sī Siōng-tè ê kiáⁿ, ū hūn tī Thian-kok ê toā chu-keh ê koân-lī, kò͘ m̄-thang hō͘ poàⁿ-ê khì hoān-choē chiah-sī Ki-tok-kàu ê cheng-sîn.  Ki-tok sī gín-ná ê toā bo̍k-chiá, koh-chài sī toā ê kàu-io̍k-ka.  Nî-nî bô-lūn tī sím-mi̍h sî-chūn, tī sím-mi̍h só͘-chāi put-liông siàu-liân ti̍t-ti̍t chhut-lâi sī sím-mi̍h in-toaⁿ?  Khoàⁿ-kìⁿ oa̍t-sì só͘-uī khó-ài ê gín-ná ê bīn, sím-mi̍h lâng boē siū lêng-kám!  Khoàⁿ-kìⁿ gín-ná bô siâ-khì ê chhiò-iông, sím-mi̍h lâng oē khǹg pháiⁿ ê liām-thâu ah!  Hō͘ hit-khoán hiah-ni̍h chheng-khì-siùⁿ Siōng-tè ê kiáⁿ-jî lâi pìⁿ-choè, choē-koà moá-moá thang iàm-ò͘ pháiⁿ-kuí ê gín-ná, che sī sím-mi̍h lâng ê toā chek-jīm?  Sī gín-ná pún-sin--ê, á-sī pē-bú--ê, he̍k-sī siā-hoē ê ok?  Che si̍t-chāi sī chin toā ê būn(誤植bûn)-toê.  oa̍t-sì só͘-uī ê tô, khak-si̍t ū kòng-phoà Ki-tok-kàu kú ê su-siúⁿ, lâi hoat-piáu ke̍k-bēng-tek (革命的) ê só͘ siūⁿ.  Ki-tok-tô͘ ê thâu-khak-téng kiám m̄-sī chhin-chhiūⁿ hiat chi̍t-lia̍p po̍k-lia̍t-toâⁿ lo̍h lâi ê só͘-kám mah!!  Tio̍h chhíⁿ, Ki-tok-tô͘ ah, Kak-chhíⁿ ê sî-ki kàu lah!  Sè-kài ê toā chiàn-cheng ū kà-sī lán sím-mi̍h?  Chū-jīn choè Ki-tok-kàu kok ê chiah-ê kok, tuì tī chit ê toā chiàn-cheng, àn-cháiⁿ-iūⁿ-á lâi po̍k-lō͘ in ê lāi-chêng ah!!  Kan-ta tì-ì tī siau-ke̍k-tek; (消極的) kiù-chè ê sū-gia̍p, bû sī chek-ke̍k-tek, (積極的) thian-chin lān-bān gín-ná ê kàu-io̍k, beh cháiⁿ-iūⁿ oē-tit thang ín-chhoā chit ê siā-hoē ji̍p tī siān-liông ah!  Chhiáⁿ khoàⁿ!  Bô-lūn cháiⁿ-iūⁿ choân-le̍k choân-sin hiàn tī thoân-tō ê kang, choē-jîn kiám m̄-sī tit-pháiⁿ mah?  Hit ê lí-iû sī cháiⁿ-iūⁿ?  Kiám m̄-sī chhò-gō͘ Ki-tok-kàu ê cheng-sîn mah?  Kú-kú ê tiong-kan só͘ bû sī Ki-tok-kàu ê cheng-sîn, só͘ boē kì-tit Ki-tok-kàu ê cheng-sîn, só͘ gō͘-kái Ki-tok-kàu ê cheng-sîn; kàu tī jī-cha̍p sè-kí ê kin-á-ji̍t í-keng chiām-chiām ná teh bêng-pe̍k, si̍t-chāi sī chin thang hoaⁿ-hí, thang kám-siā ê sū.  Chin-lí ū choè-āu ê sèng-lī tī-teh.  O͘-pe̍k-lîm tāi-ha̍k ê kàu-siū Hu-sūn phok-sū ū kóng “Ki-tok-kàu tāi-sèng-lí ê chi̍t-hāng, khak-si̍t sī tī jî-tông ê hoat-kiàn”  Kin-ná-ji̍t thoân-tō-kài, teh tù-táu ê sî-ki, lâi hoat-kiàn tio̍h jî-tông, si̍t-chāi thang kóng sī khui Ki-tok-kàu tāi-sèng-lī ê lō͘ lah!

Tē Jī Chiuⁿ

Kú-kú só͘ gō͘-kái Ki-tok ê Bīn

Lâng nā bat ta̍h ji̍p tī Au-bí Ki-tok-tô͘ ê ka-têng, chiū oē chiap khoàⁿ tio̍h Lé-nî só͘ uī Ki-tok ê bīn.  I só͘ uī chit-tiuⁿ tô͘, nā tuì su-kài khoàⁿ khí-lâi, si̍t-chāi sī kia̍t-chok; chóng-sī I só͘ uī Ki-tok ê bīn, tàu-tí m̄-chai sī Ki-tok ê chin-siòng á m̄-sī, che sī toā ê gî-būn.  M̄-nā kan-ta Lé-nî, chiū pa̍t-ê uī-ka só͘ chok Ki-tok ê bīn, lóng sī tâng chi̍t ê hêng-thé.  Bô-lūn sím-mi̍h lâng uī Ki-tok ê bīn, lóng ēng Pi (悲) choè chin-chhé.  Nā ēng pa̍t-kù lâi kóng,-Ki-tok ê bīn lóng choè pi-ai ê lâng lâi uī.

Sè-kài tāi-chiàn-āu, chong-kàu-kài ê chu-che̍k tē-it choē lâng tha̍k ê, chiū-sī Ki-tok-toān, chiah ê toān-kì khah choē sī tuì tī pêng-siông sìn-tô͘ ê chhiú só͘ siá--ê.  Só͘ chhut-pán ê Ki-tok-toān, bô-lūn tó chi̍t ê tù-chiá, bô chi̍t-lâng bô lūn gín-ná ê sū, kiám m̄-sī chin kî-thāi ê hiān-siōng mah!  Tāi-chiàn-āu, sè-kan lâng ê ba̍k-chiu lóng khoàⁿ tī Ki-tok, che kiám m̄-sī ì-bī (意味) chin chhim ê sū mah!  Beh kái-liông kin-ná-ji̍t siā-hoē ê khoán-sit, tek-khak tio̍h tò-tńg chhē Ki-tok, í-goā bô lō͘.  Chêng nî, ū chi̍t ê bo̍k-su kiò-choè Hâ-to (Harte), i ū tù chit-pún Ki-tok-toān kiò-choè “Hit ê lâng pún-sin sī Ná-sat-le̍k-lâng.”  I m̄ sêng-jīn Ki-tok ū Sîn-sèng, khoàⁿ-khin Sîn-jiah, i ê soat lán boē oē hâng-ho̍k, chóng-sī khoàⁿ i chheh-lāi só͘ lūn-khí gín-ná ê sū sī chin kî-poa̍t (奇拔), lán boē bián-tit tio̍h ū kap i tâng-ì ê só͘-chāi.  I kóng, “Kin-ná-ji̍t, liōng-pit bô ū chi̍t ê bīn pí Ki-tok ê, khah hō͘ lâng gō͘-kái.”  Bô-lūn tó chi̍t ê oē-ka só͘ uī ê Ki-tok ê bīn, i lóng kā i khok-phèng (酷評).  Si̍t-chāi tuì tī i ê phoe(誤植phoê)-phêng, oē-ka lóng bô bīn-sek.  In-uī i kóng in só͘ uī ê bīn, bô chi̍t ê ū hián-chhut Ki-tok ê chin-siòng tī-teh.  I só͘ lūn ê chèng-kù ê iàu-tiám put-chí sim-sek.  Si̍t-chāi ū chha̍k-kè só͘ ū ê oē-ka ê chông-hú ê só͘-chāi.  Ki-tok tī chit sè-kan ê tiong-kan, lâi chiū-kūn Ki-tok ê, kiám m̄-sī gín-ná pí toā-lâng khah siông mah?  Nā-sī chiàu in só͘ uī hit-khoán ê bīn-siōng, Ki-tok kó-jiân sī án-ni-, lí phah-sǹg gín-ná beh chū-chi̍p oá-lâi mah?  Gín-ná tuì in ê pún-lêng sèng, chin chai iáⁿ thiàⁿ in ê lâng.  Bô-lūn hián-chhut sím-mi̍h chhiò-iông, iáu-kú gín-ná chai sim-toé.  Gín-ná bat chin-si̍t thiàⁿ i ê lâng, tû-khì hit ê lâng ê sin-piⁿ i bô ài kūn-oá pa̍t ê.  Ki-tok ê sim-koaⁿ ū kap gín-ná ê sim-koaⁿ kiat-liân.  Thiàⁿ gín-ná ê Ki-tok, beh thài ū hit-khoán pi-ai ê bīn-siòng ah!  Ki-tok ê bīn tek-khak sī chhiò-iông ê bīn chiah tio̍h, i án-ni kóng, si̍t-chāi sī chin-siòng ê giân-gú.  Goá ū tha̍k tio̍h chit-pún chheh kiò-choè “Tuì bô lâng bat ê ha̍k-seng” tù-chiá siá chit pún Ki-tok-toān, i ê siá-hoat sī chhin-chhiūⁿ i pún-sin kap Ki-tok choè-tīn, chhin-ba̍k khoàⁿ I só͘ choè ê khoán, chheh-lâi só͘ siá Ki-tok ê bīn lóng-sī hoaⁿ-hí chhiong-moá ê bīn.  Koh-chài Sòng phok-sū ū kóng, “Tī sù-hok-im-su ê lāi-bīn kan-ta kì Iâ-so͘ lâu chi̍t-pái ba̍k-sái nā-tiāⁿ, í-goā m̄-bat,” che kiám m̄-sī kóng Iâ-so͘ lâu ba̍k-sái sī chin hi-hán ê sū mah?  I iā-sī kóng, Iâ-so͘ ê bīn put-sî chhiong-moá hoaⁿ-hí tī-teh.

Thiàⁿ gín-ná ê bīn chi̍t-chéng bô saⁿ-tâng ê só͘-chāi tī-teh,-ū ài-kiau ê só͘-chāi, ū ko-siōng ê khì-chit tī-teh.  Ki-tok ê bīn, bô-lūn sím-mi̍h khoán ê oē-ka, ū oh-tit uī ê só͘-chāi tī-teh.

Thiàⁿ choē-jîn ê bīn, thiàⁿ gín-ná ê bīn, tek-khak ū toā koh-iūⁿ tī-teh.  Ū chûn chhin-chhiūⁿ gín-ná ê sim-koaⁿ, chiah oē hián-chhut gín-ná ê bīn.  Toā si-jîn Oat-jû-oē-su ū kóng, “Gín-ná sī toā-lâng ê lāu-pē” “Uí-tāi ê lâng chi̍t-ji̍t nā bô chi̍t-pái chiâⁿ chhin-chhiūⁿ gín-ná, chiū boē kham-tit kiò-choè uí-jîn.”  Ki-tok kóng “Tī Thian-kok ài choè toā ê, tio̍h tāi-seng chiâⁿ chhin-chhiūⁿ gín-ná” Su-pi-a phok-sū só͘ tù “Ki-tok ê chú-gī” hit-pún chheh lāi-bīn ū kóng, “Ki-tok m̄-nā kan-ta chi̍t-ji̍t chi̍t-pái, I put-sî to chiâⁿ-choè gín-ná.”

Ki-tok-kàu m̄-sī ēng toā-lâng choè tiong-sim, sī tio̍h ēng gín-ná choè tiong-sim.  Goá bô kóng, toā-lâng tiong-sim ê Ki-tok-kàu, kóng, Jî-tông tiong-sim ê Ki-tok-kàu, tek-khak m̄-sī ho͘N3-kî(誤植kí), á-sī uī-tio̍h beh khiú lâng ê chù-ì chiah lâi kóng án-ni.

兒童中心的基督教

第一章

「基督教的精神」

oa̍t-Joē-le̍k (G.F. Watts)是英國出名的畫工,伊佇1904年7月過身,享壽87歲。伊有流濟濟的宗教畫 (圖)佇後世,人若看伊的圖就會明白,知伊m̄-nā是富有佇預言tek (預言的)精神的人閣再是有創造tek(創造的)才能(才能) 的畫工。中間伊所第一貢獻佇萬國的基督徒的名畫就是彼張基督教的「精神」-基督坐佇雲頂,伊的腳頭u的有四個赤體的細漢囡仔佇teh,基督倒手比心肝,正手比chiah的細囝。

若講基督教的精神,萬人的確teh欲異口同音來叫講,-救濟「陷落罪惡的大罪人」就是基督教的精神lah!若講較明,今仔日的基督教會驚了目睭無夠額光通看基督的全精神。Kan-ta信基督是大救主,無視基督有大牧者大教師的尊貴性質佇teh 的款式。基督教會的神學者,說教家也ná teh想基督教除去救主佮罪過以外無有問題通研究的款式,所以in kan-ta物頭佇這兩個問題。

總是oa̍t-hoa-kong看基督教的著眼點(著眼點)全然無相同。伊的目睭實在確實有預言tek的眼光(眼光)佇teh。伊看破基督教的精神m̄-nā kan-ta佇救濟罪人nā-tiāⁿ。基督教的精神也著佇保護養育天真爛熳,(天真爛熳)無邪氣的囡仔。尊敬囡仔出世就是上帝的囝,有份佇天國的大資格的權利,kò͘毋通予半个去犯罪才是基督教的精神。基督是囡仔的大牧者,閣再是大的教育家。年年無論佇甚物時陣,佇甚物所在不良少年直直出來是甚物因端?看見oa̍t-sì所畫可愛的囡仔的面,甚物人袂受靈感!看見囡仔無邪氣的笑容,甚物人會囥歹的念頭ah!予彼款遐爾清氣相上帝的囝兒來變做,罪過滿滿通厭惡歹幾個囡仔,這是甚物人的大責任?是囡仔本身--的,抑是父母--的,或是社會的惡?這實在是真大的問題。oa̍t-sì所畫的圖,確實有摃破基督教久的思想,來發表革命tek (革命的) 的所想。基督徒的頭殼頂kiám毋是親像hiat一粒爆裂彈落來的所感mah!!著醒,基督徒ah,覺醒的時機到lah!世界的大戰爭有教示咱甚物?自認做基督教國的chiah的國,對佇這个大戰爭,按怎樣仔來曝露in的內情ah!!Kan-ta致意佇消極tek;(消極的)救濟的事業,無視積極tek,(積極的) 天真爛漫囡仔的教育,欲怎樣會得通引chhoā這个社會入佇善良ah!請看!無論怎樣全力全身獻佇傳道的工,罪人kiám毋是得歹mah?彼个理由是怎樣?Kiám毋是錯誤基督教的精神mah?久久的中間所無視基督教的精神,所袂記得基督教的精神,所誤解基督教的精神;到佇二十世紀的今仔日已經漸漸ná teh明白,實在是真通歡喜,通感謝的事。真理有最後的勝利佇teh。O͘-pe̍k-lîm大學的教授Hu-sūn博士有講「基督教大勝利的一項,確實是佇兒童的發見」今仔日傳道界,teh tù-táu的時機,來發見著兒童,實在通講是開基督教大勝利的路lah!

第二章

久久所誤解基督的面

人若捌踏入佇歐美基督徒的家庭,就會chiap看著Lé-nî所畫基督的面。伊所畫這張圖,若對su-kài看起來,實在是傑作;總是伊所畫基督的面,到底毋知是基督的真相抑毋是,這是大的疑問。M̄-nā kan-ta Lé-nî,就別的畫家所做基督的面,攏是同一个形體。無論甚物人畫基督的面,攏用悲(悲)做精髓。若用別句來講,-基督的面攏做悲哀的人來畫。

世界大戰後,宗教界的書籍第一濟人讀的,就是基督傳,chiah的傳記較濟是對佇平常信徒的手所寫--的。所出版的基督傳,無論tó一个著者,無一人無論囡仔的事,kiám毋是真期待的現象mah!大戰後,世間人的目睭攏看佇基督,這kiám毋是意味 (意味)真深的事mah!欲改良今仔日社會的款式,的確著倒轉揣基督,以外無路。前年,有一個牧師叫做Hâ-to (Harte),伊有著這本基督傳叫做「彼个人本身是拿撒勒人。」伊毋承認基督有神聖,看輕神蹟,伊的說咱袂會降服,總是看伊冊內所論起囡仔的事是真奇拔 (奇拔),咱袂免得著有佮伊同意的所在。伊講,「今仔日,諒必無有一個面比基督的,較予人誤解。」無論tó一个畫家所畫的基督的面,伊攏共伊酷評 (酷評)。實在對佇伊的批評,畫家攏無面色。因為伊講in所畫的面,無一个有顯出基督的真相佇teh。伊所論的證據的要點不止心適。實在有chha̍k-kè所有的畫家的chông-hú的所在。基督佇這世間的中間,來就近基督的,kiám毋是囡仔比大人較常mah?若是照in所畫彼款的面相,基督果然是按呢-,你拍算囡仔欲聚集倚來mah?囡仔對in 的本能聖,真知影疼in的人。無論顯出甚物笑容,iáu-kú囡仔知心底。囡仔捌真實疼伊的人,除去彼个人的身邊伊無愛近倚別的。基督的心肝有佮囡仔的心肝結聯。疼囡仔的基督,欲太有彼款悲哀的面相ah!基督的面的確是笑容的面才著,伊按呢講,實在是真相的言語。我有讀著這本冊叫做「對無人捌的學生」著者寫這本基督傳,伊的寫法是親像伊本身佮基督做陣,親目看伊所做的款,冊來所寫基督的面攏是歡喜充滿的面。閣再宋博士有講,「佇四福音書的內面kan-ta記耶穌流一擺目屎nā-tiāⁿ,以外毋捌,」這kiám毋是講耶穌流目屎是真稀罕的事mah?伊也是講,耶穌的面不時充滿歡喜佇teh。

疼囡仔的面一種無相同的所在佇teh,-有愛嬌的所在,有高尚的氣質佇teh。基督的面,無論甚物款的話家,有oh得畏的所在佇teh。

疼罪人的面,疼囡仔的面,的確有大各樣佇teh。有存親像囡仔的心肝,才會顯出囡仔的面。大詩人Oat-jû-oē-su有講,「囡仔是大人的老父」「偉大的人一日若無一擺成親像囡仔,就袂堪得叫做偉人。」基督講「佇天國愛最大的,著代先成親像囡仔」Su-pi-a博士所著「基督的主義」彼本冊內面有講,「基督m̄-nā kan-ta一日一擺,伊不時to成做囡仔。」

基督教毋是用大人做中心,是著用囡仔做中心。我無講,大人中心的基督教,講,兒童中心的基督教,的確毋是好奇,抑是為著欲揪人的注意才來講按呢。
