Sî-sè piàn-chhian, bûn-hoà ji̍t-ji̍t chìn-pō͘; Tâi-oân ê jîn-chêng hong-sio̍k, tō-lō͘, chhī-khu, kap jī-cha̍p nî chêng toā koh-iūⁿ. Kî-tiong toā chin-pō͘ chiū-sī su-bûn kap oē-seng. Peh-sìⁿsiū bûn-bêng ê kàu-hoà ná kàu, bûn-bêng ê tē-uī chiū oē-seng ná bat, ia̍h chèng-hú oē-seng chin giâm-tiōng. Taⁿ hó-táⁿ ēng chit-ê tāi-lio̍k lâi gī-lūn.

Lūn su-bûn ū lāi-goā ê hun-piat; lais7? ha̍k-būn, goā sī goā-koan. Kū-chheng ê sî-tāi chiong Hàn-ha̍k ê jû-chiá kiò choè su-bûn, hiān-sî chiū boē-kham--tit kóng, chhiáⁿ chiong ha̍k-būn hē-teh,bián-lūn, lâi lūn goā-koan ê su-bûn.

1.Giân-gú sè-kài-tiong sī Tâi-oanl5ang ê chho͘-chhuì pháiⁿ oē thang chhui choè tē-it pháiⁿ. Tī kóng oē ê sî, hoaⁿ-híe sî, siū-khì ê sî, kháu-thâu-gú lóng sī pháiⁿ-oē; tâm-lūn ê sî toā-siaⁿ soan-jióng; bô thèng-hāu pa̍t lâng kóng-liauchíu chìn-chêng kóng, che sī pháiⁿ si̍p-koàn bô su-bûn. Pó-lô kóng, sèng-tô͘ bok5ong kan-îm phû-phiò hì-hiauh ê oē sī ha̍p-gî. (I-hut-só͘ 5 : 4, Má-khó 7 : 15).

2.I-koan che sī goā-koan ê iàu-kín. Lâng kóng, “Sian kèng i-koan, hō͘ kengj3in.” Chhēng-saⁿ tio̍h ū phoè-ha̍p sin-hūn chu-keh, châi-sán. M̄-thang chhengk7au hō͘ lâng khoàⁿ gōng-ngia̍h. Ū chi̍t khoán chhin-chhái chhēng, nā-sī chián-hoat lâi kóng, saⁿ-khò͘ chhin-chhái kó͘-bu̍t-chiong boé lâi chhēng, bô ha̍p-sin. Ū-ê iûⁿ-ho̍k hù-sio̍k-phín koà m̄-tio̍h, e-lih, kha-hú-suh koà kàu chin o͘ iáu tehēng. Ū-ê bô ut, bô chheng-khì, khì pa̍t lâng tau, ia̍h sī tī chèng-lâng etiông-kan ián-soat, i-chiûⁿ chhin-chhái, sit-lé bô su-bûn.

Koh chi̍t khoán chhēng siuⁿ koè-thauî-chiûⁿ chhó͘-chhó͘, tiong-téng lâng chhēng siōng-téng saⁿ ê táⁿ-pān bô ha̍p sin-hūn, choân ke-gia̍p hē tī sin-khu, so͘j2…p put-kiong só͘-chhut, chhut-mn̂g ná koaⁿ-ka, gia̍p-hō͘, che sī chng-choè, boē kóng sī su-bûn.

Koh chi̍t khoán chhēng saⁿ tio̍h tek-tiong, pò͘ bián chin ta̍t-chîⁿ, iàu-kintíoh chiàu sî-chè choè ha̍h-sin, ta̍k hang tio̍h chheng-khì, tio̍h chhēng khah sò͘,che chiū-sī chiàu su-bûn.

3.Lé-sò͘. Tuì koaⁿ-hú tuì sī-toā tuì pêng-iú m̄-thang bô-lé. chóng-sī lé-sò͘ ia̍h m̄-thang siuⁿ choē. “Lé-to pit-chà.”chū-chhēng siuⁿ pi-bî hō͘ lâng khoàⁿ choè hā-téng, chheng pa̍t lâng siuⁿ koâiⁿ pīⁿ-choè thiám-bī . Só͘-í lé-sò͘ tio̍h tek-tiong, kéng hiān-sî Tâi-oân só͘ ēng tú-hó ê lé-sò͘ lâi ēng, he̍k-sī seh-siā thìm-thâu, só͘ ū ta̍k hāng ê lé.

oē-seng sī chiàu-kò͘ hō͘ lâng oē ióng-kiāⁿ, iàu-kín ta̍k hāng tio̍h chheng-khì,chheng-khì sī êng-kng, lâ-sâm sī kiàn-siàu.

1.Sin-thé tio̍h sióng soé, chiah khah boē phoà-pīⁿ. Lāi-saⁿ tio̍h siông oāⁿ,thâu-mn̂g m̄-thang boah-iû, nā ēng ngī ê thâu-mn̂g-bín, siông bín, thâu-mn̂g chiū nńg.

  1. Khùn sī oē-seng ê toā iàu-kín. Lâng poàⁿ-sè choè kang poàⁿ-sè tio̍h khùn. Khùn chhiong-chiok lâng chiū khah ióng-kiāⁿ, sim hoaⁿ-hí, gâu tha̍k-chheh, cheng-sîn pá-chiok. Khùn bô kàu-gia̍h bîn, chiū khah oē phoà-pīⁿ ê khoán, sim bô pêng-an. Tio̍h khùn joā-kú kì tī ē-toé :--

Gín-ná 4 hè tio̍h khùn 12 tiám cheng.

Gín-ná 7 hè tio̍h khùn 11 tiám cheng.

Gín-ná 8-9 hè tio̍h khùn 10 tiám-poàⁿ cheng.

Gín-ná 10-11 hè tio̍h khùn 10 tiám cheng.

Gín-ná 12 hè tio̍h khùn 9 tiám cheng.

Toā lâng tio̍h khùn 8 tiám cheng. Khùn ê sî m̄-thang ēng phoē khàm-bīn chiah oē siū hó khong-khì, chím-thâu m̄ tahng ēng siuⁿ koân, thâu-khak nā khah koân heng-khám, huih khah lân-tit thàu-kàu thâu-náu. Kīn-lâi khah ài ēng mn̂g ê chím-thâu, iā-ū lâng toān-liān bô ēng chím-thâu. Só͘-í khùn m̄ thang m̄ kín-sīn.

3.Lim-chia̍h ta̍k-hāng mi̍h tio̍h ū chheng-khì chiah thang chia̍h. Chiàu hiān-sî teh khe-khó ū chin choē khoán ê pīⁿ tuì chia̍h lâi thoàn-jiám, só͘-í tio̍h soé chheng-khì, chú-se̍k tio̍h khàm, hî-luī bah-luī kè-lâu bô chhiⁿ m̄-thang chia̍h.

4.khiā-khí ê só͘-chāi thiaⁿ-tn̂g tio̍h siông-siông chheng-kiat, chhù-téng thô͘-kha tio̍h sàu-tû, ta̍k-hāng tio̍h chhéng chhit, í-toh tio̍h soé tio̍h chhéng; pâng-keng chhn̂g-ē tio̍h chheng-khì. Phē-chhio̍h tio̍h siông pha̍k, tio̍h hō͘ khong-khì ji̍t-kng oek7au, chiū bô pháiⁿ-bī, ia̍h oē siau-to̍k. chuí-kau tio̍h thong-liû m̄-thang chek-tì. 斯文kap衛生

1914.11 356卷 p.8-9

時勢變遷,文化日日進步,台灣ê人情風俗、道路、市區,合20年前大各樣。其中大進步就是斯文合衛生;百姓受文明ê教化那到,文明ê地位就衛生愈bat,亦政府衛生真嚴重。今好膽用這個大略來議論。

論斯文有內外ê分別;內是學問,外是外觀。舊清ê時代將漢學ê儒者叫做斯文,現時就bē堪--得講,且將學問下teh,免論,來論外觀ê斯文。

1.言語世界中是台灣人ê粗嘴歹話thang推做第一歹。Tī講話ê時,歡喜ê時,受氣ê時,口頭語攏是歹話;談論ê時大聲喧嚷;無聽候別人講了就進前講,這是歹習慣無斯文。保羅講,聖徒無講姦淫浮漂戲hiauh ê話是合宜(以弗所5:4,馬可7:15)。

2.衣冠這是外觀ê要緊。人講:「先敬衣冠,後敬人。」穿衫著有配合身份資格、財產,m̄ thang穿到hō͘人看憨ngia̍h。有一款chhin-chhái穿,若是剪法來講,衫褲chhin-chhái姑不chiong買來穿,無合身。有ê洋服附屬品掛m̄著,e-lih、kha-hú-suh掛到真烏iáu teh用。有ê無熨,無清氣,去別人兜,亦是tī眾人ê中間演說,衣裳chhin-chhái,失禮無斯文。

Koh一款穿傷過頭衣裳楚楚,中等人穿上等衫ê打扮無合身份,全家業下tī身軀,所入不供所出,出門若官家、業戶,這是粧做,bō講是斯文。

Koh一款穿衫著得中,布免真值錢,要緊著照時際做合身,逐項著清氣,著穿較素,這就是照斯文。

3.禮數。對官府、對序大、對朋友m̄ thang無禮,總是禮數亦m̄ thang 傷濟,「禮多必詐」;自稱傷卑微hō͘人看做下等味,稱別人傷懸,變做諂媚。所以禮數著得中,揀現時台灣所用抵好ê禮數來用,或是說謝thìm頭,所有逐項ê禮。

衛生是照顧hō͘人會勇健,要緊逐項著清氣,清氣是榮光,lâ-sâm是見笑。

1.身體著常洗,才較boē破病,內衫著常換,頭毛m̄ thang抹油,若用硬ê頭毛抿,常抿,頭毛就軟。

2.睏是衛生ê大要緊。人半世做工半世著睏,睏充足人就較勇健,心歡喜,gâu讀冊,精神飽足。睏無夠額眠,就較會破病ê款,心無平安。著睏偌久記tī下底:-

囝仔4歲著睏12點鐘。

囝仔7歲著睏11點鐘。

囝仔8-9歲著睏10點半鐘。

囝仔10-11歲著睏10點鐘。

囝仔12歲著睏9點鐘。

大人著睏8點鐘。睏ê時m̄ thang用被蓋面才會受好空氣,枕頭m̄ thang用傷懸,頭殼若較懸胸坎,血較難得透到頭腦。近來較愛用毛ê枕頭,亦有人鍛練無用枕頭。所以睏m̄ thang m̄謹慎。

3.Lim食逐項物著有清氣才thang食。照現時teh稽考有真濟款ê病對食來傳染,所以著洗清氣,煮熟著蓋,魚類肉類kè-lâu無鮮m̄ thang食。

4.企起ê所在廳堂著常常清潔,厝頂土腳著掃除,逐項著chhéng拭,椅桌著洗著chhéng;房間床下著清氣;被蓆著常曝,著hō͘空氣日光會到,就無歹味,亦會消毒。水溝著通流m̄ thang積tì。便所著常拚清氣,飼精牲ê所在著離較遠,要緊著無礙衛生。今論衛生ê事基督教ê著較嬴世俗人,有看見ê身體若boē曉清氣,behthài會用清氣ê心神來服事聖潔ê上帝?án-ni斯文衛生是日日要緊。
