Hiān-sî tī Tâi-oân bó͘ chng ū chi̍t tiâu soaⁿ-lō͘ chin kiā khah oh-tit peh. Tī hit tiâu lō͘ ū chi̍t tiuⁿ chhia teh kiâⁿ. Tī chêng-bīn ū chi̍t ê lâng chin chhut-la̍t teh thoa, āu-bīn ū kuí-nā lâng teh sak teh thoa, āu-bīn ū kuí-nā lâng teh sak ài-beh sak kàu soaⁿ-téng. Tāi-ke lóng teh lâu-koāⁿ in-uī tī chhia-téng teh chē ū chin chē cha-po͘-lâng, hū-jîn-lâng kap gín-á. Lūn chhia-ni̍h teh chē hiah ê lâng chiông-tiong ū-ê chin lāu koà Ńg-chiáⁿ; ū-ê chin ióng koà siàu-lâin; ū-ê sī hó-gia̍h ū-ê sàn-hiong. Hiah ê chē chhia ê lâng sī chin khoàⁿ-oa̍h iā chin hoaⁿ-hí. In tāi-seng lóng bô chē chhia. Hit-sî in iû-goân peh-chiūⁿ hit tiâu saoⁿ-lō͘, iū-koh ū sak koh chi̍t tiuⁿ chin tāng ê chhia, tāi-ke chin kan-khó͘, chóng-sī kàu chit-tia̍p in pún-sin chē chhia chiū pìⁿ-chò pîn-toāⁿ.
Lūn hit ê tī chêng-bīn teh thoa chhia ê lâng kap tī āu-bīn teh sak ê lâng, tāi-ke khiok hoaⁿ-hí chhut-la̍t kàu lâu-koāⁿ; chóng-sī in teh siūⁿ in ê chhia sui-jiân bô tò-thè iáu-kú bô sím-mi̍h chìn-chêng. iū-koh in teh siūⁿ hiah ê chē chhia ê lâng chiông-tiong ū-ê chin ū la̍t, in nā lo̍h chhia lâi tàu-thoa tàu-sak chiū m̄-bián koè loā-kú in ê chhia ē khoài-khoài kàu soaⁿ-téng.
Tī lō͘-piⁿ kuí-nā só͘-chāi ū chin chē lâng teh tán-hāu. Chhia nā kàu in ê só͘-chāi khiā tī-hia tán-ê lâng chiū mn̄g sak-chhia--ê kap chē-chhia--ê thang kap in chò-hoé á m̄ thang. In lóng hoaⁿ-hí, chiū ìn kóng “thang lah”. Khiā hia ê lâng khah chē chiū liâm-piⁿ chiūⁿ chhia chē, chóng-sī kuí-nā--ê tàu-sak tàu thoa lâi peh-chiūⁿ soaⁿ-lō͘.
Taⁿ hiaⁿ-tī chí-moē ah, téng-bīn só͘ kóng ê soaⁿ-lō͘ phì-lūn sī chí Tâi-oân ê hái-sū. Hit tiuⁿ chhia sī chí kàu-hoē. Thâu-chêng teh thoa hit ê lâng sī thoân-tō sian-seⁿ, āu-bīn teh sak hiah-ê sī tiúⁿ-ló, chip-sū í-ki̍p kui-nā ê hiaⁿ-tī chí-moē. Chē-chhia--ê iû-goân sī sìn Chú ê lâng, chóng-sī bô-sím-mi̍h chhut-lat tàu-chān kàu-hoē. Ū-sî tī lō͘-ni̍h kuí-nā lâng kiû beh kap in chò-hoé. Che chiū-sī chhin-chhiūⁿ kiû ji̍p kàu-hoē, tiúⁿ-ló-hoē gī-lūn liáu soà chiap-la̍p in. Chiông-tiong khah chē chiūⁿ chhia chē soà bô sím-mi̍h tàu-sak, chóng-sī ū-ê chhut-la̍t tàu-sak peh-chiūⁿ saoⁿ-lō͘. Chhin-chhiūⁿ án-ni-seⁿ sin niá sé-lé ê lâng khah chē kan-ta sī ke-thiⁿ lâng-gia̍h nā-tiāⁿ, tì-kàu kàu-hoē bô sím-mi̍h khah chìn-pō͘; chóng-sī ū-ê tàu chhut-la̍t tì-kàu kàu-hoē m̄ nā kan-ta ke-thiⁿ lâng-gia̍h nā-tiāⁿ, Taⁿ hiah ê chē-chhia--ê tio̍h àn-cháiⁿ-iūⁿ chiah ē-tit kàu soaⁿ-téng leh? Chiū-sī tāi-ke tio̍h lo̍h-chhia soà tàu-sak.
Taⁿ hiaⁿ-tī chí-moē ah! Goán chai lín ū-ê teh chīn pún-hūn ài sak kàu-hoē hit hō chhia; chóng-sī ū-ê bô. Siat-sú tī kàu-hoē-lāi kan-ta ū hit hō thoa kap sak chhia ê lâng, ì-sù sī siat-sú tī kàu-hoē-lāi kan-ta ū hit hō hoaⁿ-hí tê-gîn chò kàu-hoē ê lō͘-ēng ê lâng, chiū in kàu-hoē ê só͘-huì khiok bô kàu loā tāng. In-uī pài-tn̂g nā khah sè keng chiū ē-chò-tit, í-liâu m̄-bián hiah chē liâu, teng m̄-bián hiah chē ki, thoân-tō--ê kap bo̍k-su ia̍h m̄-bián hiah-chē--ê. Chiàu án-ni-seⁿ kàu-hoē ê khai-huì khiok bô sím-mi̍h siong-tiōng. Chóng-sī lín hiaⁿ-tī chí-moē ū lâi beh pài Siōng-tè, só͘-í pài-tn̂g tio̍h khí khah toā keng, tio̍h bé khah chē í-liâu, iū-koh tio̍h chhiáⁿ khah chē thoân-tō sian-seⁿ. Taⁿ goán khoàⁿ lín lâi thiaⁿ tō-lí soà pài siōng-tè goán chin hoaⁿ-hí kám-siā Siōng-tè; chóng-sī lín iàu-kín tio̍h kì-tit tō-lí sui-jiân sī tuì thiⁿ lo̍h-lâi, iáu-kú pài-tn̂g, teng, í-liâu, bo̍k-su, á-sī thoân-tō sian-seⁿ ê sok-siu hiah-ê m̄ sī tuì thiⁿ-ni̍h lo̍h-lâi.
Bó͘-ji̍t ū chi̍t ê bo̍k-su phài chi̍t ê ha̍k-seng khì bó͘-kàu-hoē chò lé-pài kóng tō-lí. Koè lé-pài hit ê siàu-liân lâng tò-lâi, bo̍k-su kā i mn̄g khoàⁿ kàu-hoē àn-cháiⁿ-iūⁿ chiap-la̍p i? I ìn kóng, In khoán-thāi i ná-chhin-chhiūⁿ teh khoán-thāi thiⁿ-sài chi̍t-iūⁿ. Bo̍k-su chiū khǹg i m̄-thang hoaⁿ-hí kàu koè-thâu kiaⁿ-liáu ē chū-ko. Siàu-liân lâng kóng, He m̄ sī án-ni lah. Goá nā kóng in khoán-thāi goá ná-chhin-chhiūⁿ lia̍h goá chò thiⁿ-sài, goá ê ì-sù sī in bē-kì-tit goá ū chi̍t ê pak-tó͘ ē chai iau. Taⁿ hiaⁿ-tī kiaⁿ-liáu lín ū sî sī chhin-chhiūⁿ án-ni. Ū-sî sī chhin-chhiūⁿ bē-kì-tit thoân-tō sian-seⁿ ū pak-tó͘ thang chia̍h, ū-sî bē-kì-tit chip-sū tio̍h bé í-liâu, thô͘-thoàⁿ-iû, tiáⁿ, chng, hiā, hoe soà chhiàⁿ sai-hū-kang tì-kàu hō͘ lín tī lé-pài-ji̍t thang lâi chò-hoé khoáⁿ-oa̍h kèng-pài Siōng-tè. Hiah ê mi̍h-kiāⁿ lóng m̄ sī tuì thiⁿ ka-la̍uh--lo̍h-lâi; iā lín nā m̄ chhut chîⁿ bé hiah ê mi̍h chiū pa̍t lâng tek-khak tio̍h.
Kuí-nā cha̍p nî ê tiong-kan Eng-kok lâng (chiông-tiong ū-ê pí lin sī chám-jiân khah sàn) ū tàu-chān lín khì bé hiah ê mi̍h-kiāⁿ kap tàu chhut thoân-tō ê só͘-huì. Tī lín ê tiong-kan goán chai ū kuí-nā ê hiaⁿ-tī chí-moē chin m̄ ài ēng Chó͘-ke ê gîn; lín teh siūⁿ hit hō khai-huì sī lín pún-tông kàu-hoē tio̍h tam-tng. iū-koh lín kap goán lóng chai chèng sìn Chú ê lâng nā ū kam-sim chiū chit chân sū khoài-khoài ē chiâⁿ. Hiān-sî tī kàu-hoē hit hō chhia, ū chin chē khah ū la̍t ê hiaⁿ-tī ná-chhin-chhiūⁿ tó teh khùn. In hiah-ê nā khí-lâi lo̍h chhia tàu-sak chiū kàu-hoē ê chhia ē khoài-khoài peh-chiūⁿ soaⁿ-lō͘.
Kiám-chhái lín bô sím-mi̍h chai-iáⁿ, chiū soà mn̄g khoàⁿ suî lâng tio̍h chhut loā-chē la̍t? Chit hō mn̄g sī khoài-khoài thang ìn. Chhì-siūⁿ chá-chêng lín boē sak kàu-hoē ê chhia hit sî hoán-tńg ū chhut-la̍t sak sè-sio̍k ke̍k tāng ê chhia. Hit-tia̍p ū chhut loā-chē la̍t mah? Ì-sù sī hit-sî pài-kuí-sîn khiàn-sńg ê khai-huì ū loā-chē? Hit-tia̍p chhut hiah toā la̍t ū tit-tio̍h sím-mi̍h hok-khì leh? Kiám m̄ sī hoán-tńg tú-tio̍h mô͘-kuí ê khó͘-chho͘? Taⁿ chit-tia̍p teh ho̍k-sāi to̍k-it chin ê siōng-tè soà tit-tio̍h thiⁿ-ē tē it toā ê hok-khì, lín só͘ chhut ê la̍t kiám tio̍h khah chió mah? Hiān-sî tī Tâi-oân ta̍k hāng mi̍h ū khah kuì; kàu-hoē ê só͘-huì á-sī thoân-tō ê sok-siu chū-jiân tio̍h khah siong-tiōng. Chóng-sī lín chai ta̍k lâng iā thàn khah chē chîⁿ. Lán só͘ ū ê chîⁿ-gîn lóng sī uī-tio̍h Thiⁿ-pē ê in-sù, só͘-í lán kiám m̄ tio̍h hián-chhut kám-in ê sim. Chóng-sī lán tio̍h siông-sè siūⁿ Siōng-tè Sèng-chheh ê hoat-tō͘, chiū-sī ta̍k lâng tio̍h ēng i só͘ ū-ê cha̍p-hūn khì thiu chi̍t hūn, hiàn hō͘ Siōng-tè. 拖車ê譬喻

現時佇台灣某庄有一條山路真崎較oh得peh。佇hit條路有一張車teh行。佇前面有一個人真出力teh拖,後面有幾nā人teh sak愛beh sak到山頂。大家攏teh流汗因為佇車頂teh坐有真濟查甫人,婦jîn人佮囡仔。論車裡teh坐hiah-ê人從中有ê真老掛軟chiáⁿ;有ê真勇掛少年;有ê是好額有ê sàn-hiong。Hiah-ê坐車ê是真快活也真歡喜。In代先攏無坐車。Hit時in猶原peh上hit條山路,又擱有sak擱一張真重ê車,大家真艱苦,總是到這tia̍p in本身坐車就變做貧惰。
論hit个佇前面teh拖車ê人佮佇後面teh sak ê人,大家卻歡喜出力到流汗;總是in teh想in ê車雖然無倒退猶過無甚乜進前。又擱in teh想hiah-ê坐車ê人從中有ê真有力,in若落車來鬥拖鬥sak就毋免過偌久in ê 車ē快快到山頂。
佇路邊幾nā所在有真濟人teh等候。 車若到in ê所在徛佇遐等ê人就問sak車--ê 佮坐車--ê通佮in作伙á毋通。In攏歡喜,就應講「通 lah」。徛遐ê人較濟就連鞭上車坐,總是幾nā--ê鬥sak鬥拖來peh上山路。
Taⁿ兄弟姐妹ah,頂面所講ê山路譬論是指台灣ê海嶼。Hit張車是指教會。頭前teh拖hit个人是傳道先生,後面teh sak hiah-ê是長老,執事以及幾nā个兄弟姐妹。坐車--ê猶原是信主ê人,總是無甚乜出力鬥贊教會。有時佇路裡幾nā人求beh佮in作伙。這就是親像求入教會,長老會議論了紲接納in。從中較濟上車坐紲無甚乜鬥sak,總是有ê出力鬥sak peh上山路。親像按呢生新領洗禮ê人較濟kan-ta是加添人額若定,致到教會無甚乜較進步;總是有ê鬥出力致到教會毋nā kan-ta加添人額若定。Taⁿ hiahh-ê坐車--ê著按怎樣 chiah ē得到山頂leh?就是大家著落車紲鬥sak。
Taⁿ兄弟姐妹ah!阮知恁有ê teh盡本份愛sak教會hit號車;總是有ê無。設使佇教會內kan-ta有hit號拖佮sak車ê人,意思是設使佇教會內kan-ta有hit號歡喜提銀做教會ê路用ê人,就in教會ê所費卻無夠偌重。因為拜堂若較細間就ē做得,椅條毋免hiah濟條,釘毋免hiah濟支,傳道--ê佮牧師亦毋免hiah-濟--ê。照按呢生教會ê開費卻無甚乜傷重。總是恁兄弟姐妹有來beh拜上帝,所以拜堂著起較大間,著買較濟椅條,又擱著請較濟傳道先生。Taⁿ阮看恁來聽道理紲拜上帝阮真歡喜感謝上帝;總是恁要緊著記得道理雖然是對天落來,猶過拜堂,釘,椅條,牧師,á是傳道先生ê束脩hiah-ê毋是對天裡落來。
某日有一个牧師派一个學生去某教會做禮拜講道理。過禮拜hit个少年人倒來,牧師共伊問看教會按怎樣接納伊?伊應講,In款待伊若親像teh款待天使一樣。牧師就勸伊毋通歡喜到過頭驚了ē自高。少年人講:He毋是按呢lah。我若講in款待我ná親像掠我做天使,我ê意思是in袂記得我有一个腹肚ē知枵。Taⁿ兄弟驚了恁有時是親像按呢。有時是親像袂記得傳道先生有腹肚通食,有時袂記得執事著買椅條,土炭油,鼎,磚,瓦,花紲請師傅工致到予恁佇禮拜日通來作伙快活敬拜上帝。hiah-ê物件攏毋是對天ka-la̍uh--落-來;也恁若毋出錢買hiah-ê物就別人的確著。
幾nā十年ê中間英國人(從中有ê比恁是嶄然較sàn)有鬥贊恁去買hiah-ê物件佮鬥出傳道ê所費。佇恁ê中間阮知有幾nā个兄弟姐妹真毋愛用祖家ê銀;恁teh想hit號開費是恁本堂教會著擔當。又擱恁佮阮攏知眾信主ê人若有甘心就這層事快快ē成。現時佇教會hit號車,有真濟較有力ê兄弟ná親像倒teh睏。In hiah-ê若起來落車鬥sak就教會ê車ē快快peh上山路。
Kiám-chhái 恁無甚乜知影,就紲問看隨人著出偌濟力?這號問是快快通應。 試想早前恁未 sak教會ê車hit時反轉有出力sak世俗極重ê車。Hit-tia̍p有出偌濟力mah?意思是hit時拜鬼神khiàn-sńg ê開費有偌濟?Hit-tia̍p出hiah大力有得著甚乜福氣leh?Kiám毋是反轉拄著魔鬼ê苦楚? Taⁿ這tia̍p teh服事獨一真ê上帝紲得著天下第一大ê福氣,恁所出ê力kiám著較少mah?現時佇台灣逐項物有較貴;教會ê所費á是傳道ê束脩自然著較傷重。總是恁知逐人也趁較濟錢。咱所有ê錢銀攏是為著天父ê恩賜,所以咱kiám毋著顯出感恩ê心。總是咱著詳細想上帝聖冊ê法度,就是逐人著用伊所有ê十份去抽一份,獻予上帝。照聖冊ê方法至少著十份一,若beh較加也是袂禁得。「逐人著照伊ê心所情願,毋通傷心,亦毋通勉強,因為上帝所疼-ê,就是歡喜提出ê人」( II 林. 9: 7)
